I wasn't "repping" per se. I was mostly in the Komikwerks booth (I write a blog for them about comics, follow my sig link). At least people finally stopped asking me "Is McFarlane Toys here?"

No "Batusi" for me, but I do have some pics of a few Bat-groups in costume (why anyone would dress up like "Roddy McDowell as The Bookworm" is beyond me).

I did have to sign a couple of old comics that I wrote... but I didn't charge the $45 freaking dollars that Adam West was getting. A couple of eyars ago he charged $25, but I guess being on both Fairly Odd Parents *and* Family Guy raised his value.

Now I wish I got him to sign the "Happy Hooker Goes to Hollywood" videotape a few years ago.

Well, I had a fun time working there last weekend. As I was showing off my latest action figure on a toilet custom (Conan), someone did point out I had used the joke quite a bit... Kirk (Making the Captain's Log), Dr. Doom (the Throne of Doom), Sherlock Holmes (No Shit Sherlock/Alimentary My Dear Watson), Hitler (The Nazi Potty)... I quickly moved the box that I had just purchased containing the small urinal for my next toy.

You know, I couldn't even get up the desire to drive over and see the show. Considering it's only about a half hour from my house, and I get in free, that speaks volumes.

Yeah, but then you missed the cops arresting the 14 dealers on Friday for selling bootleg DVDs... the same guys who were back in business on Saturday since "the feds don't work weekends"!

There was only one bathroom for the giant hall (six urinals!). But when all the urinals are being used at the same time, the William Tell Overture starts to play!
